A Regulator Body - Our simple rugged design utilizes the same time proven technology found in typical regulators used by SCUBA Divers around the world. Our always-on, breathe on demand, balanced single stage regulator is easy to use, maintain and service. HEED 3 can be used in any orientation, even upside down.

B First Stage Regulator - The first stage reduces the high pressure within the cylinder to an intermediate pressure utilized by the second stage

C Second Stage Regulator - The second stage provides air at ambient pressure and normal breathing through the mouthpiece. Heed 3 can be used in any orientation, even upside down. 

D On/Off Valve - Twist valve to turn the air supply on and off.

E Serial Number - Located on the regulator.

F Pressure Indicator - Dial Gauge Pressure Indicator has an easy to read, color coated display for at-a-glance pressure check in psi and bar.

G Purge Button - Clears the regulator and empties the Air Tank.

H Mouthpiece - High Quality silicone mouthpiece.

I Flexible Braided Hose - Durable Hose reaching from Cylinder to Regulator.

J Burst Disc & Plug Assembly - Protects unit from over-pressurization. Internal on Model 175-001 & 300-001.

K Refill Port & Cap - Heed 3 is refillable from an air compressor, hand pump or full scuba tank.

L 3000 PSI Aluminum Cylinder - Original manufacture date is stamped on the neck. The cylinder should be hydrostatically tested every 5 years based on this date.

M 4500 PSI Aluminum Cylinder - Original manufacture date is stamped on the neck. The cylinder should be hydrostatically tested every 5 years based on this date.

N VIP Sticker - Month and year of the last cylinder visual inspection, required every year when refilling HEED 3 at a dive shop.
